My next read was a bit unusual pick – a book series promising a short, light-hearted fantasy. Which delivered on its promise. Due to the books being short, I’m merging the individual reviews of the first three books into a single post.

After a long hiatus from pleasure reading caused my a sequence of beta-swaps, I came back to it with a book that promised a fast-paced fantasy adventure. And it fulfilled its promise, though not without (minor) issues.

So, after another month-long gap, I got to read the fourth – and final – book in Shae Ford’s Fate’s forsaken series.

I’ve taken a while to start reading the third book of Fate’s forsaken series – but devoured it all the faster. So, let’s get right into what I can say about it.

It somehow happens that my reading in the second half of 2019 is going to be dragon-themed. After the violent Dawn of Dragons and post-apocalyptic An Empire of Ashes, I got to something a bit lighthearted.

The third book of Arenson’s Dawn of Dragons trilogy keep the pace – as well as the violence and blood flow – of the previous two books.
