While death is almost inevitable in writing, not everyone will venture into what happens after. Sometimes, the story simply doesn’t give it a chance. Sometimes, it’d only be after the end and thus of little relevance. The reasons might be many. Yet, it’s something that has its place.

To be honest, I did not think I’d get much done this month. And maybe that approach led me to actually write something when I expected just a bit of editing and hope to finally find a beta reader or two.

Today, I’ll share my thought on using death sentence in writing, including the impact of setting and culture on the (dis)favor of death sentence.
